Ok forum another question. I am using the Maxx Fill 2k primer for my priming on motorcycle parts both plastic and metal. what would be the better tip 1.8 or the 2 to use and not have to start adding a lot of reducer to get the primer on and lay flat. I will go back and sand my guide coat when the primer is dried. thanks again Booggerbe

where high build primmer is concerned the bigger the tip the better.so that would be the two.another thing i just learned is to let each coat almost dry before applying the next.i was having a problem sanding (sand paper clog)so i called my rep and he told me that solvents can get locked in the primer because it's so thick.even days later the primer was a pig to sand.lots of dry time between coats solved the problem.cyas

Thanks again Flame, As soon as i can get some warm weather here in Tn. ill start my priming. Ill try the #2 tip and as you said ill give each coat time to almost dry. Have you ever used the Maxx Fill 2K. I also have to prime a raw fron fender. I am going to etch prime it first and just before my primer coat hit it with a couple of coats of bullDog adhension and then hit it with the Maxx fill. Thanks agin and ill try again to send you some mod pics of the harley. booggerbe
