1930 model A pickup

So Ive started mudding up my cab after welding in replacement paches. My doors have some light flash rust after blasting from sitting in the garage. Can I use RUST MORT on the doors and wipe it off after it kills the rust then sand off the film. Im going to be shooting PPG.

From what I see, it looks like very minor rust.
Looks like instead of using the MORT, you could just sand it with 80 or 180 grit.
