1974 Dodge Challenger

In May 2011, I purchased a 1974 Dodge Challenger with a custom paint job. The work was supposedly done in 1979. The work itself is very striking and has held up well. Below are some pictures:

I believe the work may have been done in either Kansas or West Virginia (as those are the states where the car spent most of it's life). I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to find out anything about the person/shop who might have done this work. I'd really like to tell them how much I appreciate the work and the number of compliments I still get on it. And I figure they might be interested in seeing how well their work held up after 30 years :)

Thanks for looking

Good luck to you.
Maybe you can do a vin search somehow and find a previous owner and ask them.

Great looking car.

Yeah I'm working it from that end as well...unfortunately most services (carfax, autocheck, etc) only deal with the standard 17 digit VINs which went in place in 1981.

Classic scallops and fade, Very nice work , Reminds me of how My father used to paint cars.
Should Start learning those tricks from the old days.

Maybe we should start bringing those jobs back kinda like bell bottom jeans hahaha....
