One thing you can do is join www.imagestation.com for free. Then you have a place to store your pictures. After that you can post them in most forums by right clicking on the picture and selecting "properties" then select the url from the properties. Then come to the forum and select "image" in the instant ubb code. then paste that url into the wndow that pops up. Lots of forums use this technique, and some will allow for posting direct from you hard drive.
One thing you cannot do with an imagestation picture is just taking the url that is in the browser window address bar and posting it, that technique will cause an error.
I have a web page that I created for a motorcycle forum that I belong to that will help if you are confused. I'm just not sure if there are rules against posting lnks.

I got confused by the whole mess. At first I thought we could attach pictures and upload them directly from our hardrives. It was only a few weeks ago I know we could do this. Scott must have changed the rules again back to only posting outside pictures. So what I was trying to do is figure out a way to upload not link to an outside source. When I clicked on the properties of the pictures you posted and some others that were posted lately I was the reference to the outside source so I figured it out.
