60\'s style Sculpts looking for a pattern

looking for a pattern for some 60's style sculpts like the Rat-fink cars used to display. At least some tips on painting them.

It might just be me, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say a 'sculpt.' Gimme a few more details so I know what I'm talking about. ;-)

I used to draw those things all the time back in the 60's. I have an original "Mouse Studios" catalog from 1963 that has scads of pictures of them. At one time I had all the Weird-Oh models. Wished I still had them...probably worth some money now!

So, let me know if what I have might be what you are looking for.

you may find it helpful to go to a bookstore in the art/painting section and check out the books they might have on hand take some paper with you and mke notes we tell that your cheating by not buying. lol , I'v got cheap tricks book andit talks about scallops etc... GOOD LUCK

Thank you for your input, it would be nice to see some of those orignals since that all the books are out of print that i've checked on and the others that I've tried to obtain also seem to be out of print.
the old redical hot-rods that were built by Roth.

Also to DenB.
Which cheap tricks book was it and where did you obtain it? It may have what I want. Thanks to all for repling.

the cheap tricks book i was refering to is Craig Frasers' cheap tricks and special effects. I think i know what you're looking for, i'll go to my folks house and hunt for my old tech. school autobody books and such out, and get back to you Denis B.

bobsonic I haven't found the books at my folks, BUT, i went onto amazon.com and found one that i think might help you it's George Barris Kustoms of the 50's has all sorts of stuff to look atand it cheap $$$ good luck Den B.

to bobsonic to your posting regarding 60's style scallop painting go to Roland store .com and you'll find an area saying pick a catagory then it'll have sub catagories you can pick from "vehicle graphics scallops Etc.. hope this helps
