I am restoring a 95 Mustang convertible and need to replace top, should I wait until after paint or replace top and then paint. Having never replaced a top I'm concerned about screwing up the paint if trim needs to come.

I would probably replace it first, BUT if they are careful and watch how they lean over the car, you should be all right replacing after.
Thanks TAZ. I thought about dropping staple guns, hammers and whatever. After reading your post and putting top down, there really isn't much to mask, just waiting three weeks to put new top down is a pain.
