A complaint about Scott\'s work
Got your attention eh? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif This is a partial copy from another forum I visit:
"My tank's brand new paint job from Attitude Custom Painting
www.customflamepainting.com was seriously damaged when the Indy in
my town Punta Gorda, FL reassembled the bike using the old gasket (old = 7 months use on the 2003 new bike). A flowing leak occurred under the dash. The leak went undetected for about two weeks or so while I was away on business and then it took the Indy almost another week before they got down to business with a new gasket.
The leak lifted the paint off the tank under the dash and discolored
the clear coat paint on some of the visible areas of the tank.
The Indy, so far, has refused to pay for any of the damage. He says it
was a bad paint job if it could not stand up to over 3 weeks of gas
running over the tank!!!? (Can you believe this **** ?)
Attitude Custom Painting gave me an estimate of $214 to fix the
damage. I took it to them and ten days later I had the tank back
ready to go back on the bike.
And get this: Scott at Attitude said I did not need to pay for the damage unless the Indy coughs up the money. That is called CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best!! Scott went way above and beyond the call of duty.
We'll see what happens when I go see the Indy this week. But regardless, it is nice to know some folks do business the old fashioned way...with Customer Service."
I believe I know who this shop is but the author of this hasn't confirmed it.The only shop I know around here that would state this is the same and the help is ignorant and arrogant. For those that don't know Scott this should give you a hint of his professionalism.Thumbs up Scott, not many buisneses nowadays have that much pride and only think of the bottom line figures. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bigokay.gif
