Here is my frineds car I just painted, this is my first attempt at flames, and also a first attempt at ghosting anything. Thanks to all the advice I got here, it helped tremendously!!

No comments on the wheels, they are scabs!

My attempt at a crossover. The shaadow is a little large, but it disappears with the flames.....

Different angle, shows how they disappear:

Holy cow, snow,I forgot what that looked like. The car looks good, except for the wheels of course /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gifGood thing you put up more than one pic, that first one looked like the house was pink and that would have needed attention!

Pink? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif It shows brown on my screen..... That is the neighbors shed. Snow, yeah, we only got about 3-4 inches all winter. That was what was left when I rolled it outside.

This car has been in my garage for over a year! Every time I do one thing, he has three more for me to do. Oh well, it pays!

Flames look good! 3or4 inches all yr?I certainly can't complain about this winter but,we got a lot more than that...it can go away now!

I guess I was wrong with that estimate, cause the snow that was there was probably 4". We got probably a total of 8". If it is going to snow, I want it to snow big, but now I want it to warm up!!!!!

Hehehe,it's at least upper 70's here /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yay.gifI don't know how you guys can put up with it,my first 18 years was plenty.Don't mean to rub it in (yeah i do) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gifJust remember,it's almost gone till next Fall so hang in there,in a few months we go under water so it's not paradice here either.I'm on high ground but I know quite a few people that litterally need to take a johnboat a few hundred yards from their house to reach their car during our wet season.Hell,we get main hiways go under water a few feet and are shut down for days.I hear Hawaii has the the most tranquil weather but I'm sure not moving there.

Not bad LS...I'm sure you saw my first flame job . Amazing...seems like yesterday...I did this back in Votec shcool. Brings back fond...well..not so fond memories.
This was one of only three paint jobs I did fully in lacquer /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/fire.gif

Anyone remember "Metalflake Candy"? This was my second candy job I did. This was also lacquer

Anyway...whew...it's hot in here... gotta turn on the air, then I think I'll hit the pool /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/haha.gif

How often do you get to paint cars Scott ????? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif Maybe I'll have to take a cross country trip in my 69 454 Camaro....I'd spend as much on fuel as the paint job..But hey.... Think of the trip back /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

LOL....That would be a heck of a trip both ways. Can't get more than 5-10 a gallon I would think /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/freak.gif

I haven't painted a car now for a little over 2 years. I did a vette a few months ago, but just did the flame job on it.

If you do flame it, or have it flamed, be sure and post pics!!!
