acrylic laquer

Hi
Newbie here. I need some help, please. I've been told I can't paint acrylic lacquer paint over a urethane primer, is this true? If it is, why not? If anyone can help me, I'd sure appreciate it.

I just painted some tanks and used the Harley laquer over Nason 2k urethane primer with no problems. I just let the primed tanks sit out in the hot sun for a day to let them dry.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not quite ready to paint yet, but when I'm ready, I'll go ahead with the acrylic laquer.

I've had good results using lacquer over Valspar DTM 2000 urethane primer but I always give it plenty of drying time before doing so and I never paint without using a non sanding sealer.I can't remember the number but it's made by Dupont/Nason.
