Ok, im getting back to the airbrush jobs and i wonder..
I used to paint all my old designs with classic automotive paint (standox) andi had real problems when applying second or thord coat or small details.
Then i came across acrylic paints which dry fast and they don't smell. I need to know though ... Can i coat them with regular automotive gloss coat or not? What do you think. Thanks for your help....

You can use urethane clear or Krylon or any other clear over the water based paint.
Personally I'd go with auto paint but the h2o
stuff works good too. It's not as durable in the long run but works wonders when doing multiple color graphics in one day. There are great motorcylce painters out there who use h2o paints over a urethane base with no problems.
So it's up to you to find out what works the best for you.

I have been using Createx paints for several years. Once you put the urethane clear over them they are just as durable as any other automotive paint.
They have some advantages like smell, easier to get in small quantities, and quick drying, and some disadvantages mostly the fact that the urethanes have a deeper look to them. If you practice with them enough you can get some very good results.
I use them mostly for murals and graffix jobs and the bases and larger areas are usually done with HoK urethane.
