In my experience you can add anything to intercoat clear, and dilute it up to 50%. You don't say which flakes and pearl colors you're thinking about using, but unless you mix to colors that don't belong together you should be fine - Remember your pearl can over power your mini-flake, Like: silver mini-flake with lavender pearl might make the silver not as bright by itself. Try it on a panel and see what happens -- if you don't like it throw some saran wrap over it and then see if you like it!!! If you still don't like, it paint a bike with it, somebody, somewhere will love it!!!
