I want to mimic the paint job on job #124. I have never painted before but if I put my heart into it, I can do just about anything...or at least I think i can. I will be going over the original base/clear paint job on my bike. Can you tell me what HOK products I would need to buy to complete this paint job. also I understand that if the candy is not sprayed correctly, it will result in streaking. How can I minimize this...is it "black magic" or something????
Thanks

I think the colors are in the discription of the paint job, but Scott F. will have to answer that one. There's no magic about candies you just need a steady hand and a good pattern

. When you shoot the candy make sure to fallow Hok's directions on overlapping the paint. Also make sure you go over everything the same way on every coat. What I mean is always start at the same place and fallow the last coats path. Try out some test panels first or if you are doing a bike try it out on rounded surfaces (Old tanks and fenders) to get the hang of it. Good luck.

Original bc/cc plus a candy job? Might be a little thick. Stripping it down doesn't take much more time or money and will make for a better finished product.
