Hi Y'all. I'm a young 64yo man who loves to do everything there is to do with vehicles and unusual engines, etc. I've done a lot of painting over the years starting in about 1965, and have mostly learned by doing, or from advice given by other painters when I picked their brains. I am NOT a professional painter, and don't know all the science behind it, but love to play with all kinds of custom techniques and materials whenever I get the opportunity. I'm getting ready to paint a Honda Accord right now, and just mixed up a bunch of paint leftovers and came up with two colors that will make a really nice 2 tone paint job, so I thought I'd join your forum just to visit with like minded people. Who knows, maybe I can learn some more from all of you that will make this paint job better! Thank you for being here, and thank you to the administrators for keeping this valuable forum going.
