Scott, et all,
i didnt want to rob the dust post, so started this one, but what do you use as an antistatic cleaner? Ive been using Windex, is there something better. Practicing my pinstriping the static will damn near pull the 1 shot out of the brush! Al

Al, if your striping a plastic panel you can wetdown the backside of it. The paint system I have at work ( Nexa Autocolor) has a antistatic prep for painting plastic bumpers that would work on sheetmetal for you also.

For more tips check out "pinstriper.com" Hope it's ok for the link but if not just delete it Scott.

The anti static cleaner for bumpers from PPG is pretty much rubbing alcohol. At the PPG school I went to they said you could use rubbing alcohol to reduce static electricity.
