this is what i did can anyone tell me whats going wrong.applying black base let flash,mixed my flake(f-36)with sg100 tring to get a leat 90%coverge of flake let flash then appled my candy(uk13)let flash then appled my clear(ppg 2042 with dcx8 hardner) let stand for 2 days before a wet sanded for some reason tough the paint will not get hard u can leave a impresion with your thoumb nail but it sands alright i think that my problem is with the sg100 i might be puting on to much to fast because when iam finshed it has a sponge like texture

how many coats of sg100 did you apply? what tempature are you sprating at? sounds like you didn't let the paint flash long enough. the more material you apply the longer flash times become.i usally use a DCX 4 or 5 when using concept clear.let it set for another day or two and see what happens.

temp 80 let flash at least 10 min i had a sg in the sg100 but was able to sand it out before i proceed do u thik i need to sand back down to my base or just wet sand i try again

are you sanding to buff? if so give it a couple of days to cure you probaly have at least 5 coats of urethane, between the candy color and the clear. i usally let jobs like that cure for a week before i go to sand for buffing. its a lot of material it needs more time to cure than a regular paint job.

finally firued out what the problem was ,it was the caytalst for the candy
