Anyone who uses PPG

Anyone here that uses PPG can you help me out ? I remember when the Barrett Jackson auction was on a couple months back that a car came through that was a brilliant orange color and the guys said it was Sunshine or Sunrise pearl metallic and it was made by PPG , can anyone tell me the code or even show me the color somewhere online ? I am having no luck doing searches . Thanks.

Are you sure it was PPG? House of Kolors has both a Sunrise Pearl and also a Sunset Pearl. It's a Shimrin color. Most likely this is what you are talking about.

There is also a ford color called "sunrise red mica" which looks almost like a color shift paint. Red at some angles and kind of a pinkish purple at other angles. And it can be mixed in PPG if this sounds like the one I can get a PPG paint # for you.
