Bare metal tanks and fenders with shipping oi

I was just wondering what would be the best way to get the oil off of the bare metal tanks and fenders I just bought. I plan on painting them as soon as I am done sealing the inside of the tank.

I take wax and grease remover, put it in an old spray gun and really douse the fender down, top and underside. You want to also use a red scotch-brite at the same time. This helps get it off faster.

We also wear disposible gloves when handling bare parts.

I should have the first set done sometime in a week or two. Since I am in the Air Force and my work schedule is all messed up I should find alittle time to paint them.
