basf carizzma

has anyone had any expereince with this product i want a apple red color on my car i would like to know is the carizzma dye base do that apply over a basecoat like a silver or gold or can be applied directly over the primer thanks for any help

I haven't used the BASF line for years, so I am not familiar with the Carizzma products, but if this is a 'candy' type paint which would consist of a clear and dye, then I would say yes, you would need to put a metallic base under the candy.
