What is a good spraying psi for basic auto painting? Nothing fancy just basic basecoat/clearcoat, ppg products,and just a average harbour freight or non expensive gun. Looking to buy a sata in the future, but i know the basic spraying and bodywork background. I've read some people use 30 psi. Others use 40 psi, and some even 50 psi. Does a higher psi equal more orange peel?Just curious to what psi you guys/girls are spraying at?
