Best color for ghost flame over red

trying to figure out what color i need to use over bright red for a suttle ghost flame. Was thinking about just a light coat of pearl to dust in the flame. Or getting some diamond powder and mixing it with a little clear.(never worked with diamond powder before). dust in the flames then do a std. reclear.

Yes, a 66 and 73, also a 72 challenger 2 elcamino ss's 1 lil' red express truck (which is getting flames) 2 trans ams (78 and 80)

have a bad habit of collecting cars

Drooling. I was realy close to getting a 71 cuda but my parents (divorced) couldn't agree so they sold it to some guy that tore it apart. I still see it now and again and get pretty frustrated. Some day I'll have to build/rebuild one.

If it's bright red, you may consider a slightly darker red or some dark pearl. Ghost flames don't have to be a lighter color and since the red is already bright, a lighter pearl may get you into the pink color ranges which may or may not be what you're looking for.
