Best shade of black

Hey guys,

I am looking to paint my truck black again and I want to use a dark rich base that isn't tinted to one shade or another. I have seen many shades of black with brown and blue mixed in. What have you used with good results?

I just shot some Dupont G9900S-Super Jet Black. It's pretty nice.HOK's BC25 black is very nice too.

PPG has a green cast and RM used to have a blue cast,talking factory pack or straight mixing tint.American Lacquer's lacquer and their urethane Amerflint was about the purest black I ever saw but I don't know if they're still around.I'd go with Jim's choices.

HOK BC 25 is my choice but I heard the Boyd C. has a black (and red, and blue) that is supposed to be real nice. (According to my local dupont mixer)

I just use straight black toner.
