BIG problem with clear coat and I need help

Hi,

I made a mistake and under catalyzed and under reduced some House of Kolor UFC-01. Instead of 2-1-1, I mixed it 4-1-1 (actually 8-2-2). So I ended up with only half the reducer and catalyst. This was a few days ago, Wednesday to be exact. Thursday and Friday it felt soft. If I slid my nails over the parts I could feel some drag. Now it feels dry to the touch, and I really don't feel any drag. But is still soft in the way that if I press hard and slide a finger nail sideways it leaves an slight indent in the clear. I have been using only UC-35 as my final clear coats. This is my first time using UFC-01 and in the tech manual it mentions that it is "extremely flexible" so I'm not sure if it has dried with only half the catalyst or not. I don't think this is what they mean by "extremely flexible", but I'm new (only on my fourth set) and don't know that much about all this.

Here is some back ground on what I used incase it helps ... KP-2CF, KS-11, FBC-11, SG-100, BC-02 (graphics), SG-100, then UC-35 (which had 48 hours to dry). Then since the shop temp was around 65 at the time I mixed the UFC-01 with HOK's 310 reducer and 500 catalyst. It was also very humid and rainy outside a few days after painting them. I still have some of the clear (about 4oz) in the liner from my spray gun. It had finally started to harden the other day. At least to the point of feeling like a glob of dry silicone. I know with the UC-35 it would be hard as a rock by now.

So my questions are ...

Will this ever fully dry and get hard?

If not is there anything I can do to save my work?

I do have a small UV heat lamp from an Eastwood powder coating kit if that will help it to dry. If so what temperature should I heat the parts to and for how long?

Any help you can give me with this would be appreciated very, very much. Thanks for your time.

Oooh, not good man.It will eventually somewhat harden but never like it should. It really needs to come off but I wouldn't want to be the one to do it,it sucks.

I'll only tell this once-I was painting a black tailgate and walked over to the mixiing rack and grabbed the black.Mixed it up and shot 2 coats on the gate.Something was odd with the look of the first coat but it had more than enough flash time.Went in to check the base before mixing clear and it was real shiny,WTF? As I'm walking back in the mixing room it hits me,the gallons of singlestage are in the row below the basecoat gallons-Son of a ........ Well,I really don't want to wash a whole tailgate clean so I mixed up more quick before I lost the initial window and put a touch extra hardner in the first coat and used the next slower reducer in both coats. It set up,and looked good the next day too.I did see it a few weeks later and still no problem but I know it's gonna go eventually. The only reason I'm saying this is because it was one of those pitty freebies and I still ended up getting burned.I hate having my name on it but I guess we're square now ( I think there is a rule somewhere Don't pi$$ off the painter
