My brother in law has a 600 shadow the rear fender is plastic and has a bunch of extras we want to get rid of. What can you use to fill in the holes? Will fiberglass work? any help would be great.
You'll need to find out what type of plastic it is and get the 2part repair material at the paint store,no fiberglass. To make the repair last you'll need some pieces of the same plastic if possible but you absolutely need to get to the back of the hole to grind and clean. If that's possible I'll tell you more but I'll warn you the good repair material is gonna cost you.
I do a good number of sport bikes (same plastics used). All you need to do is get a soldering iron and use it to "weld" your fill in's (of the same material) into place, Use a Dremel to gring your "welds" smooth, apply filler and sand, spray a couple coats of a high build primer like K36 (PPG) and that will work fine.....
