Do you think Bondo will be fine if used in the engine bay?There's ALOT of heat under there and I want it look nice an clean, so I'm looking for something to use to clean up the uglyness.
As far as the core support and inner fender skirts there isn't a problem and I've had to do some minor smoothing of hammer marks on the firewall where a vehicle was stuffed hard in the cowl post(front door hinge pillar),but I've never really smoothed out a firewall like it looked like it was sheeted with aluminum.The stuff is pretty resilient as long as it's applied right and you don't have a set of headers close by cooking it.
