brandywine flames

I really like the jobs where he lays down a black base, then ghosts the edges and the tips of the flames with an air brush using the brandywine. Do you just shot it over the black or do you have to shoot the gold on the tips and the edges? Any help would be great.

Ya that sure is a sweet color. Yes, you lightly spray the gold on the edges and tips and then finish with a coat or two of the candy brandywine. Then remove the tape and clear over the whole thing.

Hey guys,
Yea, that's been a real popular job...basically just aribrush the flames on using a special mix I make up (bright silver), then I coat the flames with candy brandywine (or candy red).

Looks great in the sun!!!
