buying the right equipment

Hi , I want to respray my tank and fenders and am looking for the right equipment.
I've heard that the HVLP is good but there are so many to choose from.
Can anyone advise me on this. I would like to get a spray gun and compressor to match, Ive heard the turbine air supplys are good . I 'm looking to spend about
$1,000 on altogether.

That budget could be hard to keep with an HVLP since you're compressor will be large to supply the air.A DeVilbiss Finishline seems to get good reviews and a 6hp 30 or 40gal tank should keep you in air to do a scooter without running out of air.An HVLP sucks up alot of air so you're looking at about $900 or more just for the compressor.Don't forget a good moisture trap too.
