Hello all , has anyone everseen camo flames ? I don't mean ghost flames but an actual camo scheme . I have a lady that wants a black sporty with purple and grey camo flames I think it will look stupid but thats what she wants for her business. Any way if anyone has ever seen anything like this or has any pics, or can give me an idea as to how to pull it off I'd be happy to hear from you. thaks

Well got no pictures but did camo brother inlaws jeep (Hunting) one Idea you could use is do a regular flame lay out the get some free hand templates or hell grab some leaves or what ever kinda camo pattern she is looking for Then take her color scheme shoot the flames one color then with templates fog in patterns thru out the flame lay out , When we did jeep were using flat naturals but actualy worked nice dont remember where he picked up the templates but they had squirels leaves & your typical outdoor stuff we got drunk & had a hell of a time camoing that damn willies LOL think I stuck my 4X4 that year during archery season in utah little more fun then paint job but hope that gives you some Ideas good luck

I have seen people wearing camo pants in a purple/grey/black scheme... Think that is what she wants? I think it would look ok like that....

Not the best pic, but I found this on Ebay. I would imagine this is what she wants. Wouldn't be my choice for a paint scheme, but to each his own and it could come out ok if done right.

It's been a long day. Thanks to all... I sure needed this! I was kinda laughing to myself until I got a look at that picture. Can't hold it back anymore!!! Seriously, I just had a fellow ask to camo his Road King to match his ATV. I think I'll show him that picture ('cause I'm not exactly sure what he wants). This sure is fun, never a dull (no pun intended) moment. TC /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Yeah, thats pretty much the patern she wants but only in the flames and over an otherwise black bike. I was thinking of doing the camo layout and adding some marbalizing and then airbrushing some highlights. After that maybe one or two thin coats of trasparent candy orange or red. I don't know I'll have spray out some test panels. I still thik it's gonna be Fugly...
