what materials were used to produce that stunning red base color on job 281? I suspect it's hok apple red kandy (UK11) over an unknown base metallic

well, I knew it wasn't gold (BC01), I did a test piece over the gold and it looked more orange, especially in the sunlight

If you spray it over BC-02 or Bc-12, they are very close to each other.
