Chrome Paint

Hi guys the chrome paint saga continues.I'm doing a marti gras mask in chrome and black chrome to post here.Alsa paint is different to Nates. Some of your problems encountered, such as having a milky appearance are to do the clear you are using. This material has it"s own clear iso free and ready to spray no thinning. After it's own clear is applied you can shoot whatever clear you want.Another trick is to let the chrome fully cure.I will usually forget it for about 4-5 days after the chrome application. It is also important to just dust it on and I mean dust.Hope this will help,I'll be glad to answer any questions as this material is a different process.I agree it is expensive, but an 8 oz kit is around 80 dollars but you also get 8 oz of it's own clear. The hyperblack application is the same,it's just black chrome.Further Innates chrome & hyperblack is more reflective,Great stuff..

Thanks for the post. I have Alsa's chrome paint, and it's 'all right'. I know the slicker the surface, the better results you will get.

I'll have to check out Nates chrome.
