question for you guys out there what do you do about cleaning in between paint steps i'm doing some art work on a brain bucket. heres what i have done first disassembled everything and scuffed the helmet with some 600 to get rid of some mold defects and to give the surface some tooth. next used some ppg 801 adhesion pro and followed with primer and sealer. i put on some hok starlite pearl base coat and two coats of intercoat clear. whats my next step i've noticed some small dust particlesshould i just knock it down with some red scotch brite and some precleaner. and then go to the artwork?

Don't use the red scuffy it's too coarse.I'd nip the dust with 1200 or so,then if the clear sat too long grey scuffy it wet.If you used HOK intercoat I'm not sure if you can clean it with solvent since their basecoats will come off with solvent.Scott or Ezrider will have to answer that one.
