clear coat

i am using dupont chromabase paint with dupont g27779s clear coat. how many coats of clear can i apply before running into problems

Assuming you mean problems like 'solvent pop' I'm not for sure since I haven't used Dupont for quite awhile. Most clears take at least 4-5 heavy coats before they begin to solvent pop, some more, some less.

and rgr.. does ths apply to urathane clear coats?

what exactly is solvent pop?

3 coats of medium to high solid clear is all you need to cut and buff. Just let it flash good.
