I'm new at this painting thing.I wanted to know how much clear I would need for a fatbob tank,a fatbob fender and a stock sportster front fender.the paint shop in my area said that Iwould need 2 qt.But my brother told me that I would need 1qt.Witch one is wright.

I painted a 73 Harley flh I think it was. I painted 1 tank 2 fenders and 2 fiberglass saddle bags 2 coats on everything with 1 quart of clear. I used the last of my dcu 2020 on it. Anyone know were I can get more? I sure like that clear. Hope that gives you an idea.

A qt at a 4-1-1 mix or more will be more than enough for 2 coats of hi solids clear and you'll only use 1/2 of it if you need extra to spray upside down.

Hammer,good luck finding more of that,it's been gone for a few years now.The 2021 is the repacement and is what I use for my final clearing on bikes but it is a bit thicker than 2020.I had my DeVilbiss MBC set up for 2020 but it won't come close to spraying 2021.It'll spray but it looks about like you rolled it on unless you take a chance on hosing it on.
