when is the best time to add the second/thrid coat of clear coat. is it ok to do your second/third coat if when you touch it, and it sticks to your finger and strings, or should you wait longer?

Hoss,HOK tech sheet says wait until just after it stops stringing.

That means just after so don't leave the booth when you walk back in to test it,it's better to stand there for a minute or 2 than to walk out and forget.Once it starts to string you're talking maybe 2 minutes tops before you're ready for the next.HOK is fast setting stuff compared to some of the auto stuff so monitor it well untill you get it down.

i wait now untill my finger print shows in the clear and it's a bit tacky, but don't wait too long after that b/c the clear will be in the middle of it's flashing cycle and the dreaded lifting will take place!

hope you don't mind me visiting my old posts TAZ??? it seems like a good thing to do for newbies like i was to get the answer first hand from the "newbie" that originally had the problem.
