Color choice for ghost flames

First off, the how-to is awesome! Thank you very much.

I am thinking of doing some ghost flames on my Indian. I would like to lay down a base of silver metallic with white pearl flames.

What do you think, will the white look alright on the silver?

I really don't think you'll like the effects the white gives over the silver. I would suggest spraying a "Blue Pearl" (maybe even with "Red Pearl" flame tips) or one of the other pearls over the silver. You will get more of a "transistion" of color, plus still have the ghoast effect.
It is really a personal preference issue though.
