I have finally stripped the tank clean on the top side. bondoed the small dents, and although I seem to have been abit liberal with my bondo, the sanding that now awaits me isn't so light hearted. Next weekend the underside will get done. I'm looking at options for cleaning the inside of the tank, and then I'm ready to paint or at least prime the tank.
My concern is that I haven't found a color or color combo that I'm sold on. I'm quite the tinkerer and mechanically inclined, but my creative side is abit slow out of the gate. If anyone has any suggestions or better yet pictures I can get some ideas from please send them my way.
It's a 1985 Suzuki GS700ES. I have an optional lower fairing for the bike that would make it look more like a sportbike, than a tourer. I'm not sure what colors to paint it, I like the cruiser/tourer look of the bike. so I'm not sure if I'll add all the fairings either. Not sure exactly what I want I guess. Just looking for options. If anyone has seen this bike or something similar with a nice aftermarket paint job, I'd love to see the results.
I can send a couple of pictures of the bike on request if you send me an email to:

Thanks in Advance.
