Saw a pint job a while back I am tying to duplicate was hoping someone here might be able to offer some tips...
Was on a car, the vehicle looked like a plain high-gloss black unless seen in direct sunlight at a particular angle- then you could see a very subtle purple tint. The purple looked like it was actually under the black and showing through just a bit. A friend tells me you can get this effect by mixing tinted mica with the paint, someone else told me you mix something else with the clear. I'm a little curious as to how exactly to get this effect, as I am planning to try and paint a bike the same way. The black finish looked like you could reach into it up to your elbow, and then the purple coming through was really, really effective, and extremely subtle.
Thanks in Advance,
