Color help

I'm getting ready to paint my scout.
I plan on charcoal gray as main color, gonna do a peel effect make it look like another color underneath and suggestions on a good color to go with charcoal grey and silver(peel)

just looking for ideas:bigokay:

You could always do a silver. This would look great if the charcoal is a darker shade.
Or you could do the diamond plate effect.

For an added effect, you can pinstripe the outline in a black. Then add some airbrushed drop shadows on the inside edge of the shreds

got any samples of the diamond plate? I don't have a steady enuff hand for pin striping

lime green looks great w/ silver. if you want subtle go w/ black or deep red.

I already did the jams in charcoal grey.

I'm thinking charcoal grey one side, then a darker grey or black for the peel? and silver for the third color?:think1:

Well I'm gonna paint it today:bounce: going with the grey as top color, black as the peel, and silver as the underneath color:bigokay:



trying to decide what else I can add without to much more time, thinking ghost flames on the silver:sillyme: or an IH emblem on the silver on the hood:bigokay:

Changed my mind again................I went with charcoal grey with a silver peel and a red underneath color. I air brushed the peel underneath side:bigokay: thanks for the advise on that. it really brought it to life:bounce:



I painted it yesterday, it fought me all the way, one problem to the next:sillyme: but it's almost done:drunk: gotta do the rocker with speedliner and the top of the bed:bigokay: I'll post some pics when I;m done and she's all back together:luck:
