Ok, this thread just below discusses using "Plastic Wrap. This is the first time I have heard of this, and would like STEPS and possible effects.
Maybe this is something I could use for making a flag look wavy?
I will explain here a bit about what I am trying to do, but don't let this mess up the idea of STEPS with Plastic Wrap.
I have now coated my tank with gloss white and clear. The clear has been built up.
The design is the American Flag, or a like design really. Also the Statue of Liberty's Face and part of her helmet, but under the flag....
The Flag colors are White Icing (a champaine metal flake color) Sapphire Blue metal flake, and Candy Apple Red (transparent bright red)
Liberty will be the ghost image from under the flag, and not detailed, but shaded in 3 colors. Gloss White (which is there now) White Icing (the champaine as above) and a Burnish Silver metal flake.
Only a small amount of the original White Gloss will show, and that will be central to Liberty's face. The burnished silver will separate Liberty from the White Icing for the flag like parts.(She is partly the same White Icing as what will become white stripes.)
The Stars will not be gloss white either, but the White Icing (champaine)
