I have a graphic in mind that does two cross overs like a 1 1/2 figure eights. How do you layout and paint flames or graphics that crossover? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This can be a little tricky but if you take your time ( as any good job should) you should have no problem. First I lay mine out with chalk to get an idea of ballance, then I use blue fine line tape, to ready for paint , depending on your base coat color you may wish to lay them both out now ar come back after and do youe second, remember to lightly sand any overlap to min. build up, just take the edge down!,, this is just my .o2 worth good luck,, Bo

Draw them out, outline with 1/8" tape, lay some clear shelf paper over the whole design, use an exacto knife to cut through the shelf paper following the tape outline. Then you can peel up just the parts you want to paint first. Where they overlap just put a drop shadow(using an airbrush) on both sides using some black base reduced about 400% to give the appearance of overlapping.
