Crystal FX effect

Hi
Im about to put some Crystal FX on to a car, not all over just in some fields.

The guy who owns the car wants a really suddle effect.

My question is what color should i go for if i want really suddle effect if the car is painted in an orange pearl?
Should i go for a darker or a lighter orange or should i even put on another color?

Would be nice with some inputs to make it a bit easier for me

I don't think I've ever seen the Crystal FX 'really subtle'. Maybe do it in the typical white pearl marble over the orange. This would give you more of a subtle effect.
