Hoping you guys can help me. I'm thinking of getting paint job #111 for my deuce.

I want to change out the rear fender to a rounded fender rather than the stock straight edge rear fender.

I would like to re use the stock struts and HD low profile seat with the option of putting on the stock seat with sissy bar for my wife.

I'm thinking about using the Jesse James tombstone or steeler.

Anyone out there done this to their duece? Have any pics? Any suggestions?

Thanks

See what you mean about the color. The JJ fender might pose a prob with what you want but I really don't know. That frame should be basically a ST standard? so that fender setup should work? The seat could be a problem and of course the taillight will probably have to be replaced.Go to Harley Tech Talk at MSN and see if anyone there knows, there's not many custonizing guys there but there's a lot of people there that know more than any dealership around-ask a dealer and you'll get the deer in the headlites look.

i have a steeler rear for my FXSTC and when i mocked the bike up i loved the look, dosent have that hacked off look your tring to loose,.you will need to get shorter fender struts also. i went with a tomb stone front , becouse i wanted a little more coverage than stock. as for your other post try to stay away from glass and plastic fenders on the rear. there not bad for a show bike but if you put the miles on it especially with a passenger you will regret putting it on..
