I am trying to pursue a career in custom painting. I am taking a basic painting program this coming year. I was wondering how to get the custom painting knowledge after the basic program?
Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

Ask questions, practice, experiment, practice, and practice. Also if there is a custom painter in your area you may want to see if he will take you on as an apprentice. That is how I got started.

Good Luck. t is a competitive market in most areas. You don't find too many people as willing to help as you do on this board.

The only real way is to do it.Once you get the basics down from the class get some books about custom painting and read them and play around on scrap metal.Airbrushing is where the real money's at but you have to be artistic and God knows I'm far from that.
