custom painting

Can anyone give me any information on how to get into custom painting such as schools etc. I painted my 1200 sportster 2-stage 2001/Chrysler Prowler Orange and it looks great, but I want to get into the customizing instead of just a flat color. Anything would be appreciated

Welcome.There's quite a few books and videos on the subject by Craig Frazier,Jon Kosmoski and others that are probably your best bet.PPG offers a custom segment in their paint school but I think it's more product info than how-to.I think something went weird in the poll you set up,I don't get it.

The PPG classes are hands on. I am actually going to a grafix one on Dec 9-10 in Edina MN. I have gone to 2 other custom paint classes through PPG. I'm not sure about how you would go about signing up, if your not a certified PPG painter, but I can get you a phone # if you like.
