Bought an enclosed trailer that previously had several large vinyl graphics on it . They had been removed for about 3 years , but they never got the adhesive off when they peeled the graphics . Now the sun has baked on it for 3 years , and I cant get it off. I have tried 3M decal adhesive remover , goo Gone , and the rubber eraser wheel and nothing touches it . I need help on this one ... Thanks in advance

Possibly wetsand with 1500 or 2000 and buff?
I guess this would really depend on how good the paint job is.

I'm not for sure if a 'clay' bar would work. Pick one up at a local auto parts store and try that.

just watch around the glue area, if you sand too much and nothing's happening to the adhesive, you might be sanding through the paint.

not too much worrie w/ 1500 grit, but if you go more agressive and the paint isn't that thick or a one stage paint.....

just be careful

I have tried the clay bar , and it didn't work either . The glue is really baked on and the paint is a single stage siver platinum metallic that is VERY thin , so I think I may be in trouble sanding , but I'll try a spot .

One thing that I've used and has worked really well at getting the old glue off is a heat gun. Just heat the area where the old glue is, and then roll the glue over on itself. Just make sure you wear some gloves...the glue burns skin easily.

If you dont feel comfortable using a heat gun... you can use a hair dryer.

This has worked for me many times.
