Dirty lines!make em go away!

The last car i flamed, after I shot the licks, I peeled it to clear it in and the next day I saw dirt on the tape edge of the flame.Without the clear on it ,you cant tell but after i was ****ed!
The customer didnt mind, he said you cant tell but I can!I want to stop this on my car so how do I do it?I was planning on peeling the tape,Scuffing the flames with a grey pad,rewipeing it down, and a good tac down.I have never had to do this on my flame jobs, i have always cleared 20 mins after i spray the flames.Am i being to cautious or

That's kind of odd.Do you think maybe when you tacked it off the edge pulled tackrag hairs?I won't touch those blue or 'basecoat' rags,I only use the sticky yellow ones.Other than that I can't think of anything.
