Do i need to have my car color sanded?

I got a quote from Macco at 2700$ for painting my entire car without color sanding. With Color Sanding it's 3600$. Is color sanding needed for this color 1966 Ford Silver Blue Metallic? Should i pay the extra 800 $ for color sanding or not. I have a 2008 ford mustang that i want painted. Anyone know of a color sanding service that would be cheaper than 800$.

You don't have to get "color sanding", it just makes the paint look better.
If it's sprayed right, you won't really see a big difference.
