Do I need to seal before Urethane Single Stage?

I always suggest using a sealer. The main reason is so you have a uniform color under the paint your are applying. I also suggest spraying a sealer this will make it easier for you to apply your color.
Example---
If you are going with a brighter solid orange, go with a white or a VERY light gray.
If you are going with a medium burnt orange metallic, go with a medium gray.

If you don't use a sealer, you'll probably find that it will take more paint to get good consistent coverage without making the paint splotchy.

It would mainly be for a more uniform and easier way to spray the new finish.

I'm assuming that you would also be sanding the Jeep though.

I will wash, degrease then sand the factory finish. The Jeep body is light grey. The hood, grill and fenders are white, both factory finishes. I'm just conserned that I get good adheasion.

Thanks, Steve.

Sounds like a plan!
Adhesion should be fine if you end up with about 400-600 grit or so.

:luck:
