I saw this online tonight and was wondering if you can really paint a bike with this much paint. Also he sells a HOK Kandy Koncentrate kit of four 1 oz bottles and 1 qt of HOK reducer for $25. How does that price sound and how can much do you get from mixing 1 oz of Koncentrate (1 pt, 1 qt, ???). Here is his list of amounts for the DIY bike kit ...
KP2 Epoxy Primer (8 oz A and B)
KS Sealer (4 oz black, white or silver)
BC Basecoat (4 oz any color)
MB Marblizer (2 oz any color)
Ice Pearl (1/4 oz any color) -or-
Kameleon Pearl (1/8 oz any color)
Kandy Koncentrate (4 oz any color)
SG100 Intercoat Clear 8 oz
UC35 High Build Clear 8 oz
UFC35 Flow Clear 8 oz
KU150 Catalyst 8 oz
RU Reducer (1 qt for cold, med or hot)
While I'm doing my first set and have made a few mistake that had to be resprayed and mixed to much paint a few times I wondering how much I should have used. I'm doing HD Softail parts, narrow front fender, 5 gal flat side tanks, bobtail rear fender. So does the above sound like the right amounts to use on a set of parts like I'm doing.
Also I would like to thank everyone for their replies to all my questions the last couple of weeks. I should have my first set finished in the next day or two.
