Drop Shadowing and Sticker Question?

Hello I am new and I have a couple questions for you guys. I have some overlaping graphics and I want to put a drop shadow on the top one to make it look like it is hovering over the bottom one. Should I add this drop shadow after laying down a couple coats of top coat clear that has been wet-sanded and then after shadowing lay on a few more coats of top coat clear?? I think that this would be the best way because if I put the drop shadows on before the initial clear coating, you would be able to see the hard paint edge of the graffic that is on bottom through the shadow. I would really appreciate some input!

Also if I am wanting to put a paint tollerable sticker on, should I put it on between clear coats also??

Thanks a ton for your Time!!

Also, How do you put pictures on the flames board???

That's the way I do it. That way when (not if) you put on a shadow you are not happy with, you can wipe it off with reducer and not touch your artwork.

I forgot how to post pictures here, but someone will help you out.
