Dry Pearl/Ice pearls

I need some help with how much dry pearl to buy. I am going to try and paint 2 fenders and a tank, my question is how much pearl would I add to the clear? I've seen it sold in 1/2 oz and up to 6pz at coastairbrush(HOK). Is this going to be enough? And secondly when spraying HOK ice pearls are there any restrictions on nozzel size. Any help whould be greatly appreciated!

I use the dry pearls and I have had success adding about 1/8 teaspoonfull to 6 teaspoonfulls of mixed clear. I can use this to flame a tank and fenders. You really dont need much of the pearl, though it depends on how strong you want the flames to look. I don't think the needle size is anything to worry about I spray it through a detail airbrush with no problem.

I tried to spray the Ice pearl through a .3mm
nozzle and it plugged up. It's not as fine as a dry pearl so you may run into problems.

I have a mini HVLP gun with a 1.0mm nozzel and didn't think there would be a problem but this board has alot people who do way more than painting than myself so I try to take advantage of thier knowledge.
